Hey Guys, I just got a message from another new member. I assume with a name like sportsmom, she is female making her our 3rd female in just 2 days. That's pretty cool, we can always use a female opinion, and since Retro is a male when he is on here, I look forward to participation from the girls too.
sportsmom has explained to me they have just bought an 84 1500 for their 16yo son and I invited them here to get all the great help we can provide.

Hey everyone thanks for the welcome. Sorry haven't posted until now but I am a Sportsmom & its basebAll season & 16yr old son is getting ready to go to Virginia Beach for high school nationals for wrestling. I will get pics & try to have them up this weekend. As far as watching what you say don't I'm probably worse than most of you are & my son will tell you the same. He will get on here after nationals & his name will have something to do with wrestling I'm sure. I will ask questions. Right now he wants to work on interior & motor. Looking for seat that won't cost ARM & leg in blue

Thanks for the update smom. We'll be glad to see some pics and meet your son too. I don't have any seats in blue. If he could go with a black seat with blue interior, which might not look to bad, IF HE STILL HAS IT, I know someone that had a 100% rebuilt seat in black velourish type cloth if I remember right, and seems he wanted $100 for it. His grandad had spent like $300 getting this seat completely rebuilt and upholstered.

The deal was, the guy wanted $600 for this 85K1500 I bought and he said he'd throw in this seat. I had a seat in mind for it already at home, and needed a deal, so I offered to let him sell the seat for $100 on CL and let me have the truck for $500 instead. He did that, so if he still has that seat and didn't list it, I am sure he'd take $100 for it.

OK, I'll dig his email addy out from the other computer and send him an email. He lived out in Yukon in the Westbury addition at Morgan and I-40. A bit of a drive but if you can get that seat for $100 it would sure be worth it. The seat was gorgeous no doubt. It was convered up in their garage and they had put a junk seat in the truck to sell it.
