I always keep extras around because you never know when they will go bad.

That's a fact. I have 2 or 3 in my tool box. One for standard HEI and one for ESC. They are great to have. Even if you test one and it tests good but still no fire, you can put in your KNOWN good one and if it fires up, then go buy a new one and put your test one back in the box. Process of elimination sometimes. Every tool box should have a KNOWN good HEI module.
