on my 1987 V10 silverado, i have power lock door.

i'd like to check if it works normaly.

When i open the door with the key, only the door where the is put unlocks. the passenger door as to be unlocked manualy.

if i push the lock button on the driver panel, the two doors are locks.

is this normal that if the driver door is operated by the key, there is no effect to the passenger door ? is not a centralised lock system ?

-----------------

i was loocking about how to do a "head light high beam signal", i think on motorbike the button to do this is "PASS", when i pull the left lever to me, lights goes from low beam to high beam, if i push when i am in low beam nothing happens, is there a way to do this ?

Normal. Nothing like central locking available on U.S. trucks in the 1980s...Trucks didn't even get keyless entry until the mid 90s.

You know, I have been looking in to adding "Flash to pass" in my truck. If I get around to it, I will post a writeup.

100% Normal. :waytogo:

It's not to say none of that can be added if one desires...I've thought about it. Not sure how to do the central locking though but I might kick it around, see where it lands.
