thanks calidude, that woodgrain was actually just shelf paper/contact paper, sticky backed for putting on shelves and such. Turned out alright.

Well there you go Calidude, your secret is out now.

Yeah.. no secret now... huh? LOL

yeah the straight parts were easy.. the dash and door panels, but the Bezel.... shheeesh, that was a challenge.... just had a sharp ex-acto knife, and a lota inner-lip biting....(for steadiness.. LOL)... but it came out pretty kool...

Here's something unusual, a Silverado package with power lock & crank window combo. I was told that these door panels go for big bucks on Ebay because very few were made.

Haven't seen one like that in years!

It doesn't make sense that they would be worth a lot of money though. How many people have power locks, crank windows, AND are looking for new door panels? You wouldn't think people would be fighting over them.

One of the guys on another forum snagged a set from a junkyard and listed them on Ebay. Somebody doing an original resto wanted them and paid $204.00 for two panels.

Yeah, I pop in from time to time to try and keep up. Lots going on right now so time is devoted to off-line things. Local cruise-in will be here before I know it, so making sure everything is ready for that weekend. Then there is the re-painting of the rooms, getting all of the yard's beds ready for spring planting, so on, and so on. On-line time is usually pretty short and sweet.

And thanks for the compliments. Goal is to copy the interior of a truck that comes to our cruise-in.

WTH kinda talk is that Coggle??? You mean you have a life outside of GMSB or the internet??? Lucky You !! I'm envious. When is that cruise? Its in Altus right??? I might have to see if I can talk a bud into going this year and I can ride along with him.

Wow, that truck is sharp in and out. Gotta be quite a chore to get in and out of it though. A fat guy or a guy with a bad back wouldn't have to good of luck getting and out of it.

yes it's in Altus may 6-7. Will post up info way in advance. Several guys from Midwest Street Cars out of Midwest City as well as a few from OKC. Hope to see all the Okies on here make a show'n. As for the cage, he is a skinny guy and he does race at the track so it it standard equipment. But I won't be needing that. No plans for one in mine tho. As for the tach, it's just right. Don't care for where he has his mounted tho. Last place you want to be looking is down.
