Using SPI Epoxy primer. Sprayed the door jams, under the hood, pretty much everything that needed it before I paint the rest. Box was already done by me earlier. Anybody that wants to do this it's a lot of work!!! Good Luck.

I did the same on my 1994. People would say wow that looks cool and then start to walk up to the truck. I would be like Whoa now lets stay back 40 feet or so and admire it from afar. Seriously that SPI Epoxy is really good stuff. I used it on the frame of my 94 and put probably 4 coats on it. In the fall I sprayed the frame and body panels with black fluid film never washed the underside all winter just sprayed the outside off from all the salt here. Spring time I pressure washed the fluid film off and it looked great. Did that for 4 years before I recently sold it. The combo of the Epoxy and Fluid film really helps in the salt in my opinion.

Had a couple yards of Faux Croc skin stashed. Fought the urge to buy the grey to match the paint. Dang rabbits!

Got her done. 4 coats. Done by 8AM. Baked in the sun 92 degrees. Will check on it in the morning.
