My sensor by the oil filter has 3 wires. The rest are the unplugged wires from whatever was cut out. Is it possible they put in the wrong sensor by the filter and it’s a 3 wire and I have to change that and take one of those wires and attach to the awning unit on the manifold? I know a brown wire goes down that way but did not have a clear look to see if one of them was brown. What wires should how to the sensor color wise. This weekend I can clean them and see if the old owners, 4 of them, messed it up. Also does this excuse lain the pegged at 60 psi?!

Ricko1966: pink, dark blue light blue is for op switch for choke. Tan wire is for O.P. gauge sender, you need to look at the bulkhead and see if you have a tan wire in the O.P. switch position as per the picture I told you to look up. If so problem solved. Trace it up find out where it has grounded out and hook it to the sender in the block by the distributor

Did you bother looking up the pic I told you to yesterday?. I'm not going to help if your not going to work with me. Not my truck, not my problem ,not worth the frustration.

Again I asked about the colors of the wires. Look at my previous posts for the colors. I'm going to put up the pic I told you to look at yesterday The tan wire goes to the gauge sender, which is screwed into the block by the distributor trace the wire from the firewall. The 4 wire connector you show is for an esc distributor that you no longer are running. The pic is hard to read, best I could do taking a screen shot of a thumbnail.

I have both by the oil filter, two wires hooked up. The other is on the mani and is not hooked up.
To me this reads as you have three senders, 2 by the oil filter and 1 on the manifold.
Look how much clearer this gets when written clearer and with correct info" I have both, 1 by the oil filter 1 by the distributor. The one by the oil filter has 3 wires"
Great the 1 by the oil filter is for your choke, the one by the distributor is for oil pressure the tan wire in the bulkhead wiring picture needs to be hooked up there.

@Ricko1966, Yes, just like pulling teeth. He is too busy thinking and typing to look at ANYTHING except that mass of wires..

@duece1951.. Look at the damn diagram that Taylor posted.. Near the center of the diagram is an oil pressure switch. It has THREE wires on the plug, NOT TWO..

I've already given up on helping you here for the same reasons Ricko1966 stated.. You're just not worth the frustration you're causing by not following instructions and suggestions. ...

I am not attempting to upset you. I appreciate your help and response. Have a nice evening. I am not a mechanic and this is my first attempt of building a vehicle. I bought it in the side of the road on a family trip due to turning 50. I have learned a lot and have it running and working other than this one gauge. Thank you for your input gentlemen.
