I can see that the blower housings are different between a/c and non a/c. Are the heater boxes the same? if not, it could still be used, right?

Are you wanting to convert your a/c truck to a non a/c truck? If so you are going to need a cut out of a fire wall section of a non a/c truck and graft it to your fire wall, then you will need the inner unit, control unit, and outer fire wall fan/air duct for the convesion to all fit.

by the way, i mentioned on another thread that i work for a FORD dealer. we have a windstar recall involving reinforcement brackets and adhesive on the front subframe. the adhesive works really well as an alternative to welding for small repairs. i fixed a hole in my floor with it and once dried it is as hard as steel. pounded on it with a hammer and it didn't cracked or break. 3m makes body panel adhesive. it is basically the same thing. makes things much easier.

I've been using that stuff on quarter panels for years, never thought to use it on floor repairs. That's a really simple, but really good idea:)
