hello all,
I have a 84 K20 that has just stopped. All power is gone.
Things I have done so far

Checked all fusable links
checked all fuses
made sure battery had power...lol

this is where it gets weird
Checked for power at 2 red wires at the ignition
incoming power at the light switch
droped the column and checked power at pink ignition wire with key in the on position....NO POWER
Replaced ignition switch with known good switch...still nothing.
Just for the fun of it I checked for continuity fron pink wire to ground.....i got CONTINUITY!!!
so took apart fuse box and checked continuity again from dist to engine side of FB...no continuity
Checked in cab side still has it.
So am i safe to say that the FB is shot??

Thank you for all the info in advance!

**** that's a good one....Neutral safety switch. Truck is in park? Might want to have this moved to a different spot so more people would see it. @animal, @Old77, @bucket,

Yo say it has no power, but you are checking the circuit to the ignition instead of checking the power wire coming into the FB connector. My vette lost power inside because of resistance between the two halves if the fb plug made the charge/power wire at the plug melt the insulation. Lets see if this works

I'm going to have to go with fusible link. Did you check the one on the firewall? What you're describing is classic of the firewall main 10 ga wire fusible link has blown.
