Finally a place just for us...glad i found it...

Just joined group, looking for ideas, rights, wrongs, what would do's, and most important criticism...about me 30 from dallas..bout my truck..84 c10 custom deluxe..stock 350 block n heads,edlebrock performer intake, edlebock 600 carb..MILD CAM(.450LIFT)..accel high output distrib., holley blue pump..one tire fire..umm..stock everything else...interior completely redone, top to bottom....coming soon...out th350 in 700r4..powertrax locker (this any good?)..2 lowering front n back..umm tons more...just saying wat up forum!!

And yes my caps lock is broken!

Welcome Jason from Dallas. Sounds like a mild truck. The Richmond Powertrax will hold up fine in the truck you describe. They are good unit as far as function, and at a great price too. But, if you are running over 375-400hp it may not hold up, so say 350hp as a good max for that unit. Also, don't run over a 35in tire. Being 2wd, you can probably get by with 33 or shorter and be just fine, so the Powertraxx is likely a good choice unless you want to spend a couple hundred more and get either a Detroit Locker, or Auburn Limited Slip unit.
