I have installed a new Pioneer Stereo into my dash along with the kit from metro. Everything has worked and looks good except for the face that the radio moves up in the cutout. I have the ears pushed down as far and as close as I can get them. I have the following parts in order from the metal cut out on the dash.
1. The plastic angled piece provided by metro.
2. The bezel
3. The front cover up piece from metro
4. The cage slid in thru all of these
5. Then the head unit slid in to the cage.

The radio seems a little loose and sloppy. Any ideas on how to tighten this up? I thought about making a bracket to hold pressure upwards on the head unit from underneath.

Not sure what's above it, but could you use some pipe strap to strap it to something above?
