Shortbed vs Longbed Joke??? Uhhh No, that happens to be a fact. And would you believe ********* even pay more for a 1 and 1/2 foot less of their truck???

True, but at the dealer and from the factory, a long bed costs more and is well worth it if you use a truck as a truck.

IIRC, a Stepside Shortbed since at least 2002, is an $600 upcharge over standard trucks long or short.

Stepsides are not for real trucks past 1959 and a lot of them look ugly.
