You will need the brackets for the 1973-74 grille. The 1975-80 brackets will not work. Just the middle and end brackets will be enough to keep it in and keep it from flexing.

\ Thanks ! and I bought the truck from a swap meet about a year ago and put a couple grand into it. Before I bought it I had a 84 blue stepside. I've always loved old trucks, I don't think I will ever sell this one I love it
