Followed a link from a friend on another site. Always glad to have another truck site to post on. Here's my rides...1985 C20 Silverado. 2001 Z-71 Silverado, 2005 Suburban I'll make a build thread on the 85 or something!

Welcome to the site man :handshake: all your rides are nice but that red one has got my attention:drool: is it original or had work done to it?

Also, why did you get rid of the black one?

Thanks! The red one is my favorite. All original. Bought it for $800 bucks. Still has the stock radio in it, everything is immaculate inside. I buffed the paint with some compounds and she shines real good. I'm the 3rd owner, an old man had it up until 06, then a kid bought it (for $5700 bucks ) and then I bought it from him with a blown engine.

This is a camper special. I pulled the engine, completely rebuilt it and spared no expense. Installed a HD 4 core radiator (which I had to get fixed today) and all new rubber hoses, new crank, bearings, pistons, best gasket set, aluminum intake, rebuilt the Q-jet, new fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, plugs, (buying new wires tomorrow) and a ton of other stuff. SHe runs like a top. 400 trans, 4.11 gears...10 ply tires, 3/4 ton, dual tanks, all power....etc. It was a california truck its whole life so it has no rust. Its a blast to drive. AC blows COLD AND HARD! took the rear sliding glass out and installed a solid.

WHen I got it

Heres ol blackie. It was just a truck that was pieced together by dad. He built a badass cammed 350 for it.

I got it, dropped it, had some bodywork done, painted it satin (rattlecan) black, new windshield, headers, 2.5" duals with new flowmasters, polished the mags, 4 new tires, new grille, new front bumper, new headlight bezels, new speakers, limo tint....did all that in about 2 months. Then gave it back to dad.

HATE this newer grille especially cause it was a gmc on a chevy.

Can't beat an 800 dollar truck that looks like that!!! I especially love the original hubcaps! You oughta check out JB1's most recent purchase too if you haven't already. We have had some great people with some great trucks join up recently :waytogo:

so your dad has the black truck now? You were able to do quite a bit with that in a very short amount of time! I definitely like that grill after you converted it back. I never have been a fan of that mini quad conversion often done on the front of the c10's so that new grill you put on looked much better to me :High 5:

Damn, I like the Red C20. Still got the orignal hubcaps even. I have a set, but afraid to put them on and someone else like them as much as I do.
