looking to add a bit of sound/rumble to my truck..looking at a complete bolt on system with glass packs or turbo mufflers dual exhaust.. would adding headers make that much of a sound diff.. was thinking of just using my stock manifolds and adding a system from lmc..

There you have it.
Easy Peasy.
I plan on using the above ceramic coated headers on my big block.
I am sure they have something very similar if you are using a small block.
I will also be using one of the do it yourself pipe kits they offer.
That way I can build it the way I want it.

I already have the Flowmaster mufflers I want to use on it.
I picked those up from Craigslist a few weeks ago...

Honestly, I installed headers on my truck a year ago and friggen hate them. I have wrapped them, installed the spark plug wire protectors, and still have issues with the plug wires getting burned up. By the end of the week the headers will be removed and a set of 2.5" ram horns will be installed. I will never put headers on a non racing vehicle again.

If you want some rumble and loud, check out the flowmaster super 10s. They have a great rumble and if you like loud well you'll like these. I just took a set off my truck because it doesn't make sense to be real loud in a hunting truck.
