I bought a 32 spline case but was happier with the internals of the 27. So i edgucated myself on the inner workings of the 208 and swapped them. I originally was gonna use a dana 20 that bolted up to my 400 but i didn't like the front shaft angle. Now i just got to clearance the bottom of the spacer to accept the shorter 400 adapter.

Decided not to extend the factory torque arm. Used a solid trans mount i had laying around and a 3/8" piece of angle. Everything is solid mounted so this just completes it.

Solid engine mounts too I assume?

What concerns me is frame flex, GM designed them to move around. Think it will be OK?

Yes solid engine and trans mounts. From the cab back the frame is plated with 3/16" plate. This is more or less a mud truck that is street legal to run in the street class.

That's an old thread. I haven't seen him around for awhile. I'm 99% sure the NV4500 adapter will work. I used it on my NV4500/205 setup. It's six bolt pattern (same as your 208) and 1 5/8th thick.
