I’m looking to change from my 28 spline rear axels to 30 spline since I’m redoing my gears and carrier. I se good things about superior axels but can’t find any for gm 10-bolt 8.5”. Any recommendations of where to order them and my Eaton tru trac gears? Or have advice on other axels like Yukon or alloy USA. Or advice in metal that I should be paying attention to this is new to me and I see alloy or chromoly not sure what to get but want something strong for daily driving not rock crawling

I ordered everything for my axle from Quick Performance. Best deals around and super nice people to boot. They have a whole kit for the carrier for around $550 IIRC. You get your choice of 28 or 30-spline Yukon Duragrip (clutch type posi, which is what I wanted), your choice of ratio Richmond gears (I went 3.90, anything north of 3.73 is known to be a tad noisy, just FYI) and all the bearings/seals/etc. Then I ordered their matching 30-spline axles and a T/A girdle. My 10-bolt now should be good for ~700hp or so.

I did all this online and accidently put Caprice axles in my cart instead of C10. They caught the mis-match and emailed to confirm what I needed the next day. I've since met some of their guys at car shows, 10/10 would recommend QP. They also carry the Tru Trac if that's what you're set on, just have to contact them to discuss options. I'm very happy with my Yukon Duragrip for a street truck though

Their house brand. QP makes alot of their own stuff, including whole fabricated axle housings

Looks like quality performance is the only place recommended so far. I’ll have to reach out to them. If I put a tru trac in the rear any recommendations on tru trac or open on the front carrier?
Also, tru trac vs Yukon any advice?
