I bought a 79 k25 that has a set of 40x17/16.5 ground hawgs. I have no idea what size spring lift it has. It has a 3" body lift and a approximately 4" lift block in the rear. Otherwise its all spring. The wheels are 10" wide and tires rub the fenders. I'm thinking its a 6" spring. Where could I get a set of springs only? The front spring is bent causing the collector to hit the spring hanger. I'm looking at doing a shackle flip and throwing away the block.

I would say someone put on a 4" lift kit that came with front lift springs and blocks for the rear then added the body lift, might have to go with a six inch all spring lift combined with the body lift to clear your tires, or do some fender trimming

Wish I could figure out how to turn it! Lol. With the law requirements I'm not wanting to replace the springs with a 6" set and be over the legal limit! Wish I knew what size kit was on it!

Thanks! After looking at the super lift web site its gota be at least a 6" spring kit. No way would 40's clear with a 4" suspension and 3" body!

Then why would it have 4'' lift blocks in the rear? You had said the tires don't clear and rub I thought?

it will be a rough number, but you could run a peice of string from the bolt holding the spring to the frame, then the other end to the bolt on the shackle(both on front spring) then measure down to the top of the spring. And how many leafs are in the pack?

Those are stock rear springs. So it most likely has a 4" suspension lift. Along withe the 3" body

Would it be possible to run a set of 40" tires with 7" lift and almost no rub?

35" tires usually fit a 4" lift with no rubbing as long as they are not super wide. IMO the 7" you have should fit the tires you have, from centerline of wheel, ur tires are only 2.5" taller than 35" tires. So the body lift is compensating for the extra tire size.

I'm running 40x17/16.5 tires on 10x16.5 wheels. Would anyone have the measurements of a 3/4 with 6" suspension lift and 40" tires? I'm looking to get a rough idea of how high the bumpers are from the road. I believe I can't exceed 28"
