That why my friends factory equipped vehicles with aluminum radiators have ground straps.
The timing chain's friction generates electricity, the WaterPump also generates electricity.
It needs somewhere to go.
Without getting into PhysicsIII..
Ground your radiator.
I lost a brand new BECOOL aluminum badass to basically no strap in the box.
Ouch $600+ there not cheap.

I ended up installing a carquest radiator in my c3500 dump truck, I had to remove the rubber mounts and trim the fan shroud . to make it fit. It was was suppose to be a direct fit , yeah right! My question do you think the radiator will be fine without have the rubber bushing installed on the bottom or the top bracket? It doesn't move at all and the brackets fit tightly over the top.

Thumbs down ! There must be no metal to metal contact "hanging" your radiator. It will rub. They make multiple different top brackets and I believe 7 different radiators for our trucks. Shop wisley, with your reciept and mearsuments.

Electrolysis with Aluminum radiators can be caused by multiple things, while grounding the radiator with a strap may help, it's not the cure-all because your connecting dissimilar metals together to make the strap and aluminum will end up with a thin film of oxidation at the contact point when you flow voltage through it. Electrolysis is caused by stray voltage in the engine, either by static of moving parts, the starter, poor body or engine grounds or alternator overcharging to name what I can think of. Regardless, to know for sure, you need to test for electrolysis first to see what your individual system has...here is what Ron Davis radiators has for a testing method. http://www.rondavisradiators.com/tech.htm
Most that I've done is just make sure that I've got "ground zero" on all my grounds (for those who don't have expensive meters, easier to find testing for voltage drop) and then I use a zinc sacrificial anode like these from flex-a-lite https://www.rotometals.com/flex-a-l...MIhen6_4S81wIVkFx-Ch3LLQUIEAkYASABEgLAAvD_BwE , I run a 50/50 mix because my temps get pretty low around here, mix my own and always use de-min water so no extra minerals get added that can cause corrosion.

So I guess the water hose was NOT the best source for refilling my radiators? Whoops...

That's how I fill mine lol.

BTW, Aluminum radiators should be grounded, helps slow electrolysis.
