Having issues with the hood not closing all the way in the back. It has like a 1/2 in gap. I hear it's a common problem with this year truck. I have replaced both springs and hinges. Ideas anyone?

Just need to be adjusted, loosen the hinge and have someone lift the hood all the way up then tighten the bolts and it'll close right.

Those little rubber bumpers on the core support are adjustable, too. They don't do as much, but it's worth noting.

Lower the rear portion of the hinges. It should bring it down.

There's also a tall fender bolt at the rear corner of the hood. It's supposed to slide into the inner structure of the hood when the hood closes. It's purpose is to help keep the hood from going into the windshield during a wreck, but if the hood isn't adjusted well enough, the hood just slides over the top of the bolt keeping it from lowering down. That bolt can be removed while getting the hood adjusted where you want it, then just put it back in when you're done. Or replace it with a regular fender bolt.
