I'm starting to work on my 1987 Gmc Sierra Classic Longbed 5.7L v8. I want to lower it but can't seem to find a kit or a "perfect" combination of either shackles, spindles, shocks, or flip kits. I want to drop it enough where its still comfortable and rideable as a daily without worrying that it's going it's going to scrape or mess up in any way. I want to put some 20''s with low profile wheels and still be able to achieve a low truck. What kit or combination do y'all have and recomend for my needs?or would the stock hight be good enough on 20''s? I can take other pictures of truck if needed to help me

Do you recommend a specific combination or kit?
As in brand or lowering wise.

I use McGaughys spindles, good quality and good brand rather than some no name ones out there. I also use the DJM flip kit and I did have the DJM springs too, but now I'm on air. All nice, reputable parts....

eBay is a cheap source for parts too fyi....

On my 87 SB i used McGaughty's 2.5 spindles , 1" drop coils and rear 4 " drop leafs from western chassis. I'm currently using 235/70-15 tires on the front and it brought it down to the top of the tire. The rear didn't drop as much as i wanted so Today i ordered some drop shackles that i can gain another, up to, 2 ". Western chassis has the soft ride springs and it made a nice difference in the the ride. Next is a new bigger sway bar and upper/lower A arms. Oh yea, I also used their shocks too.
