Hello all, Here to introduce myself. Im Jameson, bought myself a 1987 V10 for 1000$ about 3 months back and have slowly been plugging away at it. The motor was recently gone through and then blew a headgasket between cyls. I replaced that along with a few other things as it was sitting for nearly 5yrs at a friends parents house. Ive put about 100 miles on it since registering it so now I have a total of 1400$ into it including trailer rental to get it home.

So far right now it has Long tubes, Jet performance chip, 6in Tuff country and a few other mods but feel it was a great score.

When I went to get it

Appreciate it everyone, She does need some love but wont require much to clean up nice... Ive been using Fullsizechevy and 73-87.com for past few weeks with minimal luck. But yea I almost fell over when my coworker told me how much he wanted for it... Im just glad I finally got most of the bugs worked out with the engine altho the oil pressure isnt where I would like it to be but what can you do.

And thanks for the comments on the T/A, main reason I bought the truck is to drive it less and to tow my race car. I felt horrible driving that car in the snow lol
