Anyone ever installed 2 5/8's gauges in place of the stock ones? I was going to mount them under the dash but I've seen where put aftermarket in their dash panel. Mine are mechanical and I don't want to screw up a good cluster. Mine has the gauges plus the clock. Also need a 3 spd shift indicator if someone has 1 for sale.

You changed all of them. I've seen some keep the speedo and fuel gauge. Wondered how they done it. Yours look great though.

Sorry I don't have any pictures, but I had an 80 crew cab C2500 around 1995. It had the idiot lights. I added Autometer mechanical gauges. I don't recall the size, but I know they slid into the factory gauge cluster (the blue piece behind the bezel). I may have had to trim the depth of the gauge pods or the back of the bezel so they fit flush. I was able to sneak the hoses/wires out the back by removing a couple of the dash light holders so the curcuit board would move. I used the green filter over the gauge bulb making it look factory.

Cant say for 2 5/8 but the 2 1/16 auto meter fit pretty well. You'll have to hack the back of the cluster for these to fit. I love how they sit, can't say the same for the big tach/speedo as the angle is too steep to see the top numbers.

It may be pretty difficult to keep factory gauges as there is a maze of laminated circuitry behind the cluster if you do any hacking. I had to completely omit the circuitry back there, not sure if you want to go all the way on that.
