I'm pulling this from the 91 Burb R1500. I'm removing the frame rivets for the brackets too. I'm not sure if the brackets are the same for 73-80, but I'm certain these will fit all 81-91 1/2 and 3/4 ton squares. So if you have a 2wd Burb, Pick Up or even Blazer and it didn't come with a front sway bar, here you go.

Get you 4 hardened bolts, nuts and washers with a little loctite and bolt these brackets to your frame that is already drilled from them, and so are your Lower Control Arms and install this. It does certainly make a huge difference in cornering. I never realized how big of a difference it made til I drove one without it. I actually thought something was wrong with this truck. I got under to check it out and seen it didn't have a Sway bar. :insane:

$50 for all of it, plus shipping which might be a bit steep due to weight and size. If you have a bar and just need the bracketry, clamps and bolts. $40 and shipping will be alot less.

I'll include the bushings too. Bare in mind, they're used but seem to be about an 8 of 10 and still have some life left in them. They're normally $12 for each set if want to buy brand new ones. Oh and 1 last thing, you get to clean the parts too if you want them clean and pretty.

The brackets look like the ones on my '73, so I'm guessing it would fit the whole gambit of squares from '73-87.

Good to know. I'll prolly keep the stuff around. I know it's rare to see one without a sway bar up front, but I've seen a few that are on the road today and drove that one. You can't get these out of our local PAP. They set the damn trucks right down on these brackets over welded rims and some of the brackets get bent up, but you sure can't get to them.

My '84 C10 is one of the trucks that did not come with a sway bar, it certainly is not a corner carver, lol.

It sounds as if we might be putting together some part swappin' boxes. You want this stuff for your 84 C10? It doesn't take long to install it and sure makes a difference. You should be able to tell being you've drove both with and without now.
