I have a 79 that's been wrecked and I also have an 82 that's just sitting in my yard. Does anyone know How hard would it be to change out the front caps on them?

If you're trying to put the '82 on the '79, you'll need to swap the fenders, the core support, the hood, and the grille. Is the '82 a single headlight setup?

The hood hinges are quite different also. The 82 hood has hinges that are up on the cowl that recess into it. You'll also need to change to the newer wiper mech as the 82 will have a separate cowl panel instead of tucking under the rear edge of the hood.
