Looks like reserve was met at $7k which isn't bad. Lower than I thought it would be. I'll be interested to see where the bidding ends up by the end.

Yes, a bit lower than I was expecting. I'm out at $7250....my guess it it will be $8500-9000.

I typed this while pooping.....

Are you stopping at 7250 because that's what you think it's worth or because you just don't want to spend more than that? I am honestly having a hard time putting a dollar value on the truck.

Thats just what Im willing to spend, also keeping in mind there will be additional transportation costs involved to get it to me.

I'm out at $7250.

It's good to set a max for yourself so you don't get caught up in a bidding war. I prefer to decide in advance what I'm willing to pay and put it in as my max bid at the last minute. If someone has an automatic bid that's higher, so be it, I can't bid again because the auction has ended. Keeps me from paying more than I'm comfortable with.

btw, thanks for telling me YOUR max bid. I'll be hovering over the bid button in four days.

wow! I'd totally give him 7400 for that thing if local. Have you called him and talked to him yet?

No..while I agree its a hell of a price, Its just a bit too far for me to go get or pay the shipping costs...Id be adding nearly $1K to the overall cost.

Plus I dont like the style of marker lights on it, petty I know.

It's tempting to go get and drive back home :) But I'm a round eye fan which comes with those marker lights :D The only thing I don't like on the truck are those lights on top of the cab.

Yeah, i gotcha....I don't like those either. Look kind of goofy and not sure if they may be an aftermarket thing from the 70's. I've have to shave those off then patch the roof for me to be happy.

Agreed, the lights are funky. I'd replace them with the standard lower profile lights.
