Has anyone wired up a dome light override switch? I'd like to put one in my burb so I could leave the doors open without having to worry about my battery. I'm certain it's only a matter of finding the right wire and putting in a switch but I'd like to see if anyone else has done this.

Yeah, the switch just interrupts the power feed to the dome lights. Look in early 90's GM conversion vans for a switch, it matches the factory Burb dash switches for the rear accessories.

Thanks, I'll add it to my list of junkyard parts I need to get. I'm wanting something clean and factory looking.

Swap out all the interior lights to led, less amperage draw, no heat and they last a shitload longer than the incandescent bulbs.

Hmm, those are some very good reasons to go fancy. I had never really thought about it, just assumed everyone liked the looks of LED better.
