disable auto door lock when started

Hi,

My remote start disabled itself (maybe a blown fuse I can't locate).
My old 87' had manual locks. This truck has electronic door locks.
The doors automatically lock themselves after the motor is started. Is this the default of the original system? Is there a way to disable this?

So this truck came factory with power locks? I wouldn't think it would come wired to lock upon ignition, but I don't know for sure.

If I can find my '86 chevy truck wiring diagram book then I'll look for you. '87 could be different in that regard, IDK.

Hopefully someone that has pwr locks can answer your question, in the mean time I will see what I can find.
