I get way too much water in the engine bay of my '86 and I just became aware that it's supposed to have a seal between the cowl and the hood.. I've looked around on the net to see where it is supposed to mount and how it is attached....no luck

Does it just glue on? Does it have little pegs that pop into holes? I'm not seeing any holes where it might attach.

Does it mount on the little lip between the firewall and the cowl? Seems like the most reasonable spot.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

On 81-87's it's on the underside of the hood at the rear lip.

Thanks for the reply. I just went and looked and, sure enough, there's a channel with broken clips still attached. My course is clear!
