wow wow and wow. All through my boces program we never took a filter apart and were all told their all the same and do the same thing. for the 5 years iv been driving (i just turned 20 :) ) iv always used fram tough gaurd on my 2003 silverado and my FRESHLY REBILT 355 AHHH!!! i will neve use a fram filter again. i swear.

and for the 7 years of repair experence i have. most of the people i know say the same thing. "a filter is a filter." so would wix then be the best?

iv been working on cars and trucks with my uncle since iv been like 13 or 14. thats what i meant my 7 yrs...just sayin

have been using hastings for years at work, knock on wood have never had a problem with them and that is thousands of them, wix is good also

the wal mart tech filters rate tight up with most OEM motorcycle filters. fram however is nothing more than a door stop. I wount use from on anythign i own.

Its true, Walmart Super Tech filters, are not the best, but they are decent and much better than the Fram. Wix is good which is Napa Gold Filter. Purolater Pure One filter is good which is also a Motorcraft filter, but the Motorcraft filter is about half the price of the Purolater Pure One, so I buy the Motorcraft when I use Convetional Oil. I use Mobil 1 filters when I use symthetic oil, reason being, a good filter, good oil, I am not changing it for 1 year or 10,000 miles and when I do change it, its still gold in color. My motors are clean inside and I change oil every 5000 with conventioanal and 10K with Synthetic.
