camaro speedo isnt electric, he is running an LS1 with a 4L60E otherwise Ide say he would have.

I just think it is neet to see the effort this guy put into it.

that's kind of a big deal on 67-72 in the 73-87 section the camaro gauage swap. it's right up there with aftermarket gauge swaps.

There has to be a better alternative.

It's not that I don't like it or don't commend him for the ingenuity, it's just not something that I would do. :)

I hear ya man, it's nice and good for a stock/custom swap. I like to do more custom then that, and just don't like stock anything really. I'd rather do aftermrket gauges all around or digital.

I got a cheap set of guages from orileys a while ago and mounted them in 3 pod cluster down below the ashtray. i was looking at my dash the other day and I think i am going to hack up my stock dash and install the after market in place of idiot lights, should be a cheap mod and all thanks to that video.

yep seen it done alot, biggest thing is keeping the circuit board to work the rest of the stuff.

We got the same gauges except sunpros, in dad's 84 I want to put them in the same spot, in place of the stock small ones.

It's been a couple years probably. It'd be great if someone had an affordable tach rebuild service for the stock tachs though.
