It just depends on what you prefer, I think. On a newer carbureted vehicle (70s/80s), I like divorced or electric because it makes it a little more modern where you don't have to deal with it, and both are reliable. That's what they came with so that's what they'll stay with in my mind. On older ones, I'd keep it manual if that's what it came with. I don't really believe in aftermarket carburetors, and in doing everything I can to keep it stock or modified stock, I'll just leave it how it came and not change it. That's just me, though. Manual will never fail you, and the other kinds have heaters, springs, and adjustments that can get out of whack over time.
