Hey,

I'm replacing my quadrajet with an edlebrock on my 79 350. However, I have ran into a problem. My engine has a bracket that is held down by the two rear carb bolts. The bracket hold my throttle cable. The bracket wont fit on the new carb because the spacer uses the holes. Anybody had this issue and how did u fix it?

Maybe need to pick up a throttle cable bracket to fit the Edelbrock. I had one on my old setup with a Edelbrock on a square bore intake. That may be the difference.
