cap and rotor question

hey guys i just ordered a cap/rotor setup with new wires. havent done this before and was wondering if there was anything tricky to it? any tips? thanks

It's pretty sraight forward. My advice it to switch 1 wire at a time from the old cap to new cap though so you dont mess up firing order.

Both Cap and Rotor are keyed with notches, so they only go one way. Should be easy to do. Then the wires as suggested above, one at a time, or remember where #1 went, then 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2. Not hard at all.

Need to do this myself. Put a little tune-up grease on the tips of the plugs before sticking the new wires on.

make sure you switch the ground strap over from the old cap

Prob wouldn't hurt to make sure your distributor hold down is nice and tight before starting.
