Oh I'm messed up like a left handed football bat, so your saying take off the DRW axle assembly from the c&c and swap that with my SRW Assembly bringing the tire out the 2in that I need?

1st picture is 14blt ff SRW Assembly
2nd picture is 14blt ff C&C DRW assembly
Both are 71in axle flange to axle flange as you said so the part I'm tryin to wrap my head around is swapping assembly's
Again sorry for the inexperience with axles

Maybe this will give you a little reference. Here's some pictures of my K30 when I had the bed off. The one difference between the 20 and 30 series is the rear spring hangers. My K30 has almost verticle hangers with the shocks mounted inside the frame. This shows what the 3.5" style drums look like on a 14 bolt SRW axle.

Based on his photos, I think his truck is a K20.

@83chummins maybe my photos are too big to open on a phone. You can pm your e-mail and I can send them that way. Also, Can you confirm if you have a K20 or K30.

I'd definitely be sticking with the SRW axle then. Unless you want to swap in K30 spring perches, but even then, I'd want to use a SRW K30 axle to avoid running two sets of wheel spacers.

Do the big tires on the duals even fit the SRW axle with the wider K20 spring perch spacing? I've never tried it yet.

You mean these two spacers!!! I got em just in case things just plain dont work out.

As for the srw 3/4 ton drum hub assembly the dually wont fit on it becuase of the straight lip before the hub instead of the beveled end like the drw drum hub assembly.

Hmm, there's no good options here, lol.

Ok here's what I would be doing next. Remove the drum from the hub (3/4 ton SRW axle) and mount the hub back to the axle, then test fit the inside dual. If the tire clears the spring, I'd swap to rear disc brakes.

If that's too wide of a stance, you will be forced to run K30 type spring hangers.

The spring hangers aren't a particularly hard swap, but getting your hands on some good used ones can be difficult. You could then bolt in the C&C axle you have and run all those spacers, or you could swap to the SRW hubs. There's a few ways you could deal with the missmatch of the brake flanges, if you chose to go that route.

Alright so I'm not so sure the 1 ton SRW hub looking at the pic from (craig85) will work with with my 2 in spacers run outta spindle housing. I think I'm going to fabricate my own spring hangers do a shackle flip to drop out my 4in block as well it's already bagged so I think it will work out with the compression spring vs reg tension spring if I go the with CC DRW axle. I have some 1/4 plate and 3inch square tubing that I can use. If I was goin to use the SRW 3/4 ff axle I would swap the whole DRW assembly over from the tube flange out to the hub (if possible) but that would make the CC axle a boat anchor for now until used for my next rig(52 Willy's overland pickup with a 4bt on a Chevy 3/4 ton frame). I'm goin to marinate on my options for the day it's colder than a witches *** and raining . Try again tomorrow

Sounds like I'd just stick with a single rear tire as much pain in the ass as this is generating for you... That or just go get you some super singles and big wheel it.

I don't wanna give up that easy man if I do this once with a little extra effort and planning it should work out and be worth it. I have the back up plan already from the BSF videos if my back is against the wall
