My flatbed had an aftermarket Cruise Control that has a two wire connection and a vaccum port. None of the factory GM Brake Light Switches have a vaccum port.

Sooo, Im goint to replace the existing switch with a GM Replacement 4 wire Brake Light Switch for Cruise Control and block of the vaccum port, since the Cruise Control didnt work anyway and I have the 4 wire switch already.

My question is, which of the 2 sets of 2 wire connections should I connect the wires to? Or does it matter?

Thanks for bearing with me....

Steve

Use a meter. Set it on 'OHMS'. Touch any 2 of the terminals. When you find 2 that cause the meter to go to '0', press the switch. If the meter goes to infinite, those are the 2 terminals you want. Repeat until you get it.
