im lookin to put 33's (295/75r16) on the rear since the local tire shop doesnt have the 265s and havent had any for almost a week now. :)poop:) The front will remain 265's. does rpm drop when rear is bigger than front? Or does all tires have to be bigger size? Eventually ill probably squeeze 33s in the front for the right price

Of course, a taller tire means a little less engine rpm at any given speed. If it's not a 4x4, then you can get by with different size tires on front and rear. The tire size will only affect engine rpms on the drive axle only which in case of a 2wd Squarebody, that's the rears.

A 295 75R16 is 33.42 inches tall. The 265 75R16 is 31.65 inches tall. A difference of 1.77 inches or 1 3/4 inch difference. Your probably talking about 140 rpm difference at 70mph, or 70 rpm difference at 35mph.
