so i just picked up a set of 38x12.5x16.5 tsl swampers for my truck and was wondering what the best way to balance them is. Ive read about airsoft bb's, zinc coated bb's, and balancing bags but what actually works? the truck probably wont see much if any road time with these tires but i was just curious. My dad had a electronic balancer i can use anytime as well so that is always an option...thanks for any help

If they're bias ply dont expect them to be that great when cold. Honestly I didn't do anything to mine but mount em on new wheels. They hop like a trampoline when you first start out but after they get warmed up they run in just fine.

Don't even bother putting them on a balancing machine, it will just freak the machine out and call for crazy amounts of weight. BB's are the most common method.

I use the coated steel only because it took less bb's to get the job done. I can't say which works better.

i have a set on my 64 mud truck right now same size i ran them for years they are now weather cracked and of will not hold air and they are bald. never even tried to balance them the flat spots are bad till they get warm. and the death wobble is pretty bad with them. but its now getting 44'' boggers

I have used antifreeze before poured in the tire before mounting them, or down the valve stem. I have used the plastic beads for airsoft guns too. BBs work but made alot of noise when moving slowly.
