I had figured the fuel pump would be powered by the ignition somehow or through the oil press switch. I thought that on tbi motors if no oil press it would shut down the fuel in attempts to save the motor from damage.

Which wire would you suggest lol?
You must be registered for see images attach

This was before I tore things apart.

Also I have a couple big wires going down the drivers side not sure what they are for.

Did you ever get this sorted out?

No I haven't yet. But I think I've narrowed it down to the pinkish wire that went to the coil. As far as fuel pump I'm torn with just throwing on a mechanical one and calling it a day. I hadn't realized that the fuel pump relay is on the pass side of the firewall I thought it was the ESC module.

The motor is still in the garage on the stand. I ended up having to pull the heads bc of the junk that got into the ports. Well glad I did bc the pass side head gasket was on its way out between cylinders 6 & 8
