Fuse block question.

Is it ok to use a male crimp on spade for a connection here? My dome light needs plugged in and the end is gone. Hot wired it and it works just isn't plugged in.

Yep, not an issue. I think that corner of the fuse block is Ignition. You won't have a dome light with the key off. BTW, there are kits with the original plugs that snap in place for cheap and they are color coded and only fit the sockets they are intended for.

The dome light isn't supposed to come on on door open??

It is but, the power comes from the battery not the ignition.
