Are hood latches interchangeable between 76 and 77?

The handle for the 1976 is offset since the 76 grille has a bar running right up the midline. 77 you just reach right through since there is a grille hole right at the top center. My 76 for some reason, has a 77 style grille and centered release handle. If I switch to a 1976 grille, do I just simply bolt on a 1976 release handle or is there more to it? Attached drawings.

Nope, that's it. When we swapped out '76 shop truck to a '73/74 core support and grille, we simply swapped the latch and center grille support to match. Just take your time adjusting the latch and you'll be fine
