Anyone here ever done a spray dye for carpet

Did a google search and the stuff that came up was only 100 bucks less than new carpet-my carpet is not worn thru torn up or burned just older and in dire need of a return to the original grey color.

I've got the same issure in my C20. The carpet is in good shape, just badly faded. You can tell where the truck had floor mats at one time. Under the floormat looks good, but the other part is an ugly much lighter putrid blue. I figured I'd just re dye the carpet in that one. But if it costs that much forget it.
For my Fo Buh Fos I want to buy OEM factory rubber mats. The C20's I'll do carpet.

I know you cant use vinyl paint too heavy and the voc's on the carpet can dissolve the carpet....but im checking on Rite dye or fabric spray...i will
figure it out..i only have the captains chairs and the second row fold down seat.Which i keep folded down most times its just the wife and I.
But it looks like a FOOTBALL field of carpet...lol..so one way or the other
i will come up with a non toxic dye fix..
When i do i will post,or if someones already done all the work they can chime in anytime.

I would just go with new carpet. The dye would be my last choice.

I've seem some dye work some magic by an auto detailer. There was a bleach spill beind the front seat and even though it was picked up quickly, it still turned the carpet white about the size of a basketball. You could never tell when the detailer was done.

spray dye works, been there done that twice.

I used sem and duplicolor, works the same cept dc is alot cheaper then sem stuff.

I dyed the monte carlo carpet grey, it was rusty and nasty looking, then I dyed it black.

works fine, but if it gets alot of traffic plan on touching it up every now and then.

My carpet was fine and stayed fine, but cloth seats required touching up, often.
