The strut tower brace had almost 3mm of play in each bolt mount. Ended up cutting some bushings to take up the gap. Also finished one side of the weight jack install.

Second side installed, also new strut mounts(better camber and taller), and rear lca relocation brackets for correcting geometry of a lowered rear suspension. Started lining up the strut tower brace, but looks like better get alignment verified before setting it in place. I was happy with camber, but felt caster where I set it is a bit too much and the strut mounts might need to move some for alignment.

But not very drivable on the street.
4X4 mod applied. Raised about 1.3cm on driver side and 1cm on passenger. Accounting a bit for a driver weight. Headed off to alignment

And the alignment shop told me to stop lying to my self that all is left is alignment. Off to next stage of cascade repairs.

The obvious that I did not check are the ball joints, not horrible but getting there, then the lower a arm bushings starting to crack a bit. Then might as well replace the motor mounts as they are original 98, then also oil pan near oil filter been leaking, and I could use couple of notches in the k member to better run the brake line and also install original ls1 ac compressor. Which in turn leads to removal of the k member. I only really needed the ball joints replaced, but it always turns up as such.

Almost finished with prep on the lower a arms. Need to knock out the old bushing shell. Also did a bit of washing on the oil pan trying to make sure it is the oil pan gasket that is leaking.

Have the k member out and the motor mounts as well. I have a set of 2nd gen poly mounts that I think the inserts would work with 4th gen mounts after some trimming. Unless I find a buyer for them and just buy new correct inserts.

Had to trim down the 2nd gen poly inserts to fit. But fitted and welded back up. K member washed and ready to notch couple of areas.
