Good Evening! I'm Jason from Central Washington State. I purchased my 88 R20 in Portland Oregon approximately 3 years ago. I've recently decided to start the conversion from a 2wd to 4wd using a 77 Chevrolet K30 drive train that my uncle gave me. It's been 2 months work in progress but I just backed it out of the shop for the first time since starting. The poor thing still sags about 2-inches in the rear. So i'm considering a 2.5-inch rear shackle reversal kit from off road design.

I still need to hook up steering and make a three hard brakes lines to have it back on the road STILL as a 2wd. I'm in the process of obtaining everything needed to complete a overdrive swap before making the full conversion to 4wd.

I like it. Always wanted one but couldn't find one in the condition I wanted so I ended up with a burb.

Are you going to start a build thread?

Nice! I used to have a red 1980 2WD 3+3 crew cab with an 85 front clip. FYI, 2WD and 4wd rear spring hangers are different. GM used taller ones on the 4WD so there were no lift blocks.

LMC sells most of the parts, but you can them off another truck. At the rear hangers, ORD is a solution, but unless you change the front hangers you won't get the full lift.

Derick - Unfortunately I didn't take enough pictures. I'll try and work with what I have and my research and put something together.

Thank-you!! I read about this being an issue but haven't looked at the 4wd hangers. My sagging issue is even with a 4-inch block provided with the lift. I'll have to look into getting the 4wd rear/front hangers before I drop the $$ on the ORD shackle kit.
