'87 V10 resto-mod

I recently bought an 1987 V10 4x4. All my best memories from childhood were rinding in his truck, I want to do that now with my sons. What started as replacing the freeze plugs turned into a resto - mod. Im doing all the work myself, before this the most I have ever done was changed the oil. Any tips from members would be grately appreciated.
