my 75 k10 has the sm465/205

there is no speedo cable on the trk

i'm probably wrong (it's been 40+ years) but i remember my 73-77 k10's had 2 piece speedo cables for that long run from the speedo to speedo drive

my local parts man does indeed show a 2 part cable for the '75 k10 but when he orders them he always gets 2 identical cables 5' long.

neither will connect to the other
neither is even close to being long enough to reach

can someone tell me if i and my parts guy are crazy?

what speedo cable are you guys using?

thanks in advance

According to what I'm attaching here, it appears that you're correct for an automatic transmission application, but for an SM465 application, as well as the three on the tree, it looks like a one piece unit. LMC Truck has it listed as part number 36-2021 on page 87 of their catalog. Maybe try ordering it from them. The price looks pretty good to me. Also, just as a general comment to everyone, I didn't know they were reproducing the little green speed sensors. That's pretty cool.
