Totally rebuilt tranny. Randomly grinds (quick second worth of time) into gear when shifting into Park (bout 3x in a month). Now yesterday wouldn't hit Park...started Rollin down incline. So ran shifter thru gears then back into Park. Still kept rolling. Parked on flat spot, drove a few miles, parked on incline again and it was fine.

Help!!!

sounds like a cross leak keeping the forward band applied. Can double check the pressure to make sure not set too high.

Yep, I"m going with shift linkage adjustment. You're not getting the parking pawl fully engaged. The linkage being off a bit can also affect the manual valve in the transmission and some orfices are not getting fully opened up or partially blocking another.
