My 350 isn't as peppy as I feel it should be, and I suspect the HEI timing advance needs attention.
I have looked at many kits online at all price ranges and read the reviews, and they are all over the place.
I want a GOOD quality kit and not pay a fortune for it, and any advice or tips on how to set it up for max performance would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Moroso kit in my HEI and it’s pretty great. i have a Proform distributor, with MSD cap and rotor, pertronix coil, and MSD ignition module with rev limiter, and the moroso advance kit. I used the Silver weights in mine so it advances faster and it runs phenomenal. i’d recommend it over the Mr. gasket kit, Spectre kit, and others.

I found a chart online that gave the factory total advance for different combinations of the weight cams and weights. The different profiles of the cams regulate not only total advance, but the advance st different speeds. I don’t have it saved on my phone, which means I must have printed it and filed in my library. I’ll see if I can find it tomorrow.
