Okay just wondering if 35 with 20inch rims and 12.5 wide would fit under a k5 with stock suspension?

I don't think so but maybe, but for not without a **** ton of fender trimming and you have to have the right offset rims.

Under stock suspension, I highly doubt it would fit without contact of any sort no matter what the backspacing would be.

I used to run 33x12.5's on my k10 with stock suspension. It would rub on full turns and through dips/speed bumps. Stepping down to 32's gave enough clearance for no rubbing.

Size of the rim is a moot issue, but I'd consider 33x12.50 max. 35x12.50 could be done, but the least amount of tweeking and into a turn, you're going to rub without at least a 2in lift, and 4in preffered.
