Does this bushing look okay? I believe its the tailcone bushing.

I see. Thanks. Why not synthetic gear oil?

Synthetic is too slippery for the synchros to do their job, and then the synchros go bad. You'd think it would help but it doesn't.

It's been many years since I had a 4x4 square, so I don't know about that mount in the photo.

I crawled under the truck with ice and was able to slide around. It has a lot of play, buy transfer case one dles not. If jdo one I would do the other 2. But it ain't.
