Corrigan, Is that the 20” bucket end?

Way nice truck!
That’s 2 different trucks, yes the Blue interior has the 20” buckle end.
You can see they’re a little longer than the black ones.

Randy, the pm message section is blocked for new messages. I was unable to answer your question there.
here’s a pic of a Seat Belts Plus 15” belt (female end) with the seat all the way back.
you can see that only a short length is showing. I hope this helps.

Corrigan,
Did the shoulder post bolt come with the belts? I called seat belts plus and the less than helpful sales person said “I will have to call the mfg and let you know, it will be three days”.
It was like talking to dirt.. must be the California weather?

Randy nice job. My 76 GMC came with factory shoulder strap seat belts. Wonder how rare they are?

Hey Randy, in the photo it looks like you have the Seatbelt retractor mounted to the seat bracket..could be just a bad angle of the photo? If that’s the case, it’s wrong and very unsafe. Should be mounted the the anchor points on the floor.

No, must be bad angle. They are in the floor. Had that darn seat out 4 times this week for stereo install and new vinyl floor.

Thanks for looking out for us! We have been known on many occasions of putting things in the wrong place…

He is really liking that we are coming to a conclusion of sorts. Instrument cluster hopefully tomorrow and maybe bezel, still waiting on dash pad from USA1. Door panels and such are here he just lazy on some things. Waiting on shocks from Western Chassis for his 2/4 drop then it’s on to wheels and tires and that’s about as far as he is going for a bit I think by he changes his mind at least 100 times a day….

@Randy De Oreo do you have a link for the exact belts you bought? My wife bought me a very nice gift (with safety in mind as the seat belts are about it for safety features without airbags...) to what I think looks similar to the belts you bought, but when I checked the website she bought them from (CJ Pony Parts), it said they were designed for bucket seats. Now CJ Pony Parts won't take them back, even for a store credit, as we are beyond 60 days. Anyways, as they look similar, I am wondering if I can make them work on my bench seat, and a link to your belts might help. Really I am trying to see what hardware came with yours to see if its similar to what I have.

Thanks.
